Stitch the World was founded in 2026 by two of some of the youngest fashion icons ever: Safwan Ali and Edgard Caabay. Everyday, no matter the occasion, our founders make sure they are adequately dressed: for Safwan, this means going for an "old money" vibe that revolves around loafers, raw denim, Ralph Lauren, harrington jackets, and of course, non-prescription glasses. To put it bluntly, Edgard is moreso the "2016 hypebeast type": Supreme box logo hoodies all day every day, and maybe some Yeezy 350 V2s to go with those.
But in their pursuit of great style, something that both Safwan and Edgard both learned to understand is that they are incredibly blessed to be in the position they are in. The ability to even be able to think about wearing premium and stylish items from fashion brands is an enormous privilege that tons of people don't have, including many of those in the countries that Safwan and Edgard respectively originate from: Bangladesh and the Philippines. With this in mind, they founded Stitch the World with the purpose of alleviating the clothing issues that millions of individuals deal with in poverty-stricken areas.
Our final goal is that eventually, everyone, no matter the situation, will be able to look within their closet with a smile on their face instead of having to worry about filling that closet.
